Tonya's Vocational Days, Week Two

The last two days I have had the pleasure of visiting with Scope Services and Berendale Secondary School. 

At Scope I met with GM Jenni Hendy who showed me two day programs they offer for adults with disabilities. Jenni and I had extensive discussions comparing and contrasting services available to individuals as well as discussed how funding is structured and administered in each of our states.  

At Bernedale I had some hands on experience and assisted in a cooking class for their hospitality training program. After cooking class, I participated in an art class and learned a bit myself about crosshatch shading.
